Who doesn’t want to be more confident? With Bmore Boudoir I aim to create an empowering space for women to express themselves and feel as beautiful as they are! That’s why today I’m talking about habits of highly confident women, and how you (and I!) can take some steps to be even more confident in our day to day lives
Yes! Confident women know that positive attitudes make for positive outcomes. I try so hard to do this in my own life. I try and see the best in people and situations. I’m always enjoying my day and my life as much as I can. It’s so much easier because I have my dream job, but some days it’s definitely effort!
Little things to try to become more positive – a gratitude journal to jot down a few things each night; a piece of jewelry that reminds you to smile; read The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin
It is so much easier to go confidently in the direction of your dreams when you know what those dreams actually are. Seems simple, but it’s definitely tough. I recommend setting some time aside when you can really focus and spend some time thinking, writing, and vision boarding. That’s what I did, way back when when I was just a girl with a discount camera and a big dream!
Good goals are achievable and have a time limit. If you want to be a professional photographer but have no idea where to start, a good starting goal is research and invest in a camera. Then set the goal of creating a portfolio. Baby steps until you have the business you’ve always dreamed of.
Once you’ve set some goals, and you’re out there attracting lovely experiences by having positive thoughts, a bunch of opportunities will show up. How do you know which ones to take? In order to say yes to something, you have to say no to something else. Knowing what you’re working towards makes this easier I think.
If you’re an over-committer looking to cut back, maybe make an actual list of things that line up with your goals and things that don’t to carry around in your purse or on your phone. “I’d love to but I have to check my calendar,” is totally an acceptable response!
Body language is a big thing. Even if you don’t feel overly confident, they’ve done studies that doing the “Wonder Woman” pose – standing with both hands on your hips for 30 seconds actually makes you feel more confident. Isn’t that crazy? It’s fabulous that something so small can completely turn your attitude around. Of course, I also always recommend a boudoir session to help you feel more confident posing!
I’d love to hear them in the comments down below! I’m always looking for more ways to feel confident in my life!
"Anne is an incredibly talented photographer, and her passion for capturing beautiful memories really shines through during her boudoir sessions. She really takes that time to make sure you're comfortable, and I honestly felt so glamorous and confident. This photo shoot was such an empowering thing to do! (and honestly...it was really fun to get all dolled up and pretend to be a supermodel for the day!) I highly recommend Anne and Bmore Boudoir."

"Working with Anne and Ash was absolutely amazing! They are very knowledgeable and gave wonderful advice. Even though Anne was a lot of fun and very laid back, she ensured she exuded professionalism always. I was so nervous to do a boudoir shoot and was lacking some serious confidence. They had a special way that made me feel not only comfortable, but confident and sexy! The pictures were beautiful and very tasteful. I cannot wait to work with Anne again!"
"Working with you was incredible!! You were so laid back, made me feel comfortable and beautiful in my skin. I didn't feel like I needed to cover up or hide at all. Your direction and energy was exactly what I needed to have a successful shoot. I chose YOU to do the session because I felt like you would put me at ease and we'd just have FUN during the shoot, and I was right ;) Having finished and leaving that day I felt empowered and absolutely gorgeous, like I could take on anything life threw at me haha! I was super excited to get the photos back and share them with my hunny, and he LOVED them! No complaints there <3"
