Life comes at you fast. If you don’t stop and look around every once in a while, you might miss it. Is it me or is life getting faster and faster? I wonder if it’s from getting older, or from having kids, or the world is actually going around a little quicker. Whatever it is, I’m trying my best to live in the moment and practice mindfulness. Mindfulness is such a nice word! Here’s how I’m trying to practice mindfulness every day.
It’s definitely hard to get everyone together but it’s so worth it. Catching up over dinner is a great because it’s a chance to hear about everyone’s day (and to wrangle the kiddos) while enjoying a meal together. It’s a great reminder everyday that the kids won’t be this little forever. It makes me grateful!
This body is the only body I’ll ever get! There are tons of great conversations out there about loving your body, and how to love your body but I think we can all agree that whatever body you’re in, that’s the one for you! A great way to stop overthinking and practice mindfulness is to enjoy your body, and how it takes care of by celebrating it with exercise, or a bubble bath, or a boudoir shoot!
As a mom, multi-tasking is life. Sometimes though, I feel like it pulls my attention in all different directions. I’m working on doing only one thing at a time. Doing it that way makes me feel like I’m actually getting more things done. Do you babes feel like that? When you work on things, are you focusing on one or more? I’d love to hear about it!
Friendships are like plants. They need attention! Everyone has their own crazy lives and it can be hard to reach out, but I know I love when someone sends me an out of the blue text asking about my day. Sending a sweet text or leaving a comment on their Instagram is a tiny way to reach out, and make your friends feel loved. And who doesn’t love love?
I am so excited that summer is here! Not only is summer prime wedding season, which means that I get to spend my days doing what I love, which is capturing love in print (and digital!) but it also means days out in the park, late sunsets and of course beach days! Nature is an awesome way to practice mindfulness, because it sort of forces you to pay attention to the world, and how wonderful it is.
Let me know in the comments below! I’d love to hear how you babes keep focused and practice mindfulness is our crazy wonderful world!
"Anne is an incredibly talented photographer, and her passion for capturing beautiful memories really shines through during her boudoir sessions. She really takes that time to make sure you're comfortable, and I honestly felt so glamorous and confident. This photo shoot was such an empowering thing to do! (and honestly...it was really fun to get all dolled up and pretend to be a supermodel for the day!) I highly recommend Anne and Bmore Boudoir."

"Working with Anne and Ash was absolutely amazing! They are very knowledgeable and gave wonderful advice. Even though Anne was a lot of fun and very laid back, she ensured she exuded professionalism always. I was so nervous to do a boudoir shoot and was lacking some serious confidence. They had a special way that made me feel not only comfortable, but confident and sexy! The pictures were beautiful and very tasteful. I cannot wait to work with Anne again!"
"Working with you was incredible!! You were so laid back, made me feel comfortable and beautiful in my skin. I didn't feel like I needed to cover up or hide at all. Your direction and energy was exactly what I needed to have a successful shoot. I chose YOU to do the session because I felt like you would put me at ease and we'd just have FUN during the shoot, and I was right ;) Having finished and leaving that day I felt empowered and absolutely gorgeous, like I could take on anything life threw at me haha! I was super excited to get the photos back and share them with my hunny, and he LOVED them! No complaints there <3"
